Children, Young People and Families

Sunday Morning Worship at 10.00 am

Young people join in the first part of the service before going to their activity groups in the Church Hall:

Scramblers: 3-5 years
Explorers: 6-10 years
Pathfinders: 11-15 years old

Young people stay in church on the first Sunday of the month for All Age Worship.

Provision for children under 3

Toys, books and crayons are provided in the children's corner at the back of the church for those caring for very young children.

Messy Church

This is a very popular, informal and creative service, especially for families with young children, on the third Sunday of the month at 3.00 pm.

Special Events

There are several other events in the year for young people: holiday clubs, trips and outings.

Toddlers Group

Toddlers meets on Tuesday mornings in the Church Hall at 10.00-11.30 am during term time. Parents, grandparents and carers bring babies and pre-school children for activities, play, singing and refreshments.

Tea Toast and Truth

A Bible Study group for young people in year 7 or above. Thursdays 4.30-6pm (termtime only) at the 'Chill' youth venue, 210 Newmarket Road.

'Chill' on Sundays

Social Activities for young people year 7 or above. 1st Sunday of the Month, 4.30pm (location varies) followed by the evening service at St Andrew's, Eaton, 6.30-8pm.

34th Norwich Scout Group (St Andrew's Eaton)

Diane Whalen (01603 452780) is the Group Scout Leader and runs Beavers on Thursdays 6.00-7.15 pm for children of 6-8 years and Cubs on Mondays 6.30-8.00 pm for 8-10½ years.
Thomas Stevens (01603 458761) runs Scouts on Fridays 7.15-9.00 pm for 10-14 years.
Nick Phillips runs Explorers for 14-18 years.
All the groups meet at the Scout Hut next to the Eaton Vale Centre.
