Christ Church was built in the traditional Gothic style by the Victorians in the middle of the 19th century. It was opened as a Chapel of Ease in 1873. Christ Church as it is today grew gradually over the last century and it now seats 300 people. It has a robed choir and an excellent organ. Its worship style is perhaps slightly more traditional than that of St. Andrew's.
